Elite Booker vs Booksy
When researching a Booksy alternative, distinguish the standard subscription from optional Boost marketing. Booksy does not charge commission for standard marketplace bookings when Boost is off, so a comparison based on commission on every booking would be misleading.

Costs and practical differences

Compare the features your team actually uses
List the tools you use each week and test their equivalents before switching. A subscription comparison is incomplete if it ignores a feature your team depends on. Assess optional marketing separately and use your own acquisition results rather than an assumed number of new clients.
Before moving from Booksy
- Request your client list through Booksy's published support process. Agree the available fields and delivery timing before setting a launch date elsewhere.
- Review your Boost settings, outstanding bookings and payment records. Plan when booking links will change and check how reminders will be handled for appointments already in the diary.
Keep your current diary running until your Elite Booker booking page is ready and tested, then switch your booking link.
Questions before you choose
Does Booksy charge commission on every booking?
No. Standard bookings are commission-free when Boost is off. Optional Boost has separate new-client attribution and fee rules; review those before comparing acquisition costs.
Do both platforms include the same features?
Not exactly. List the tools your team uses each week, including reminders, staff access, deposits and client records, and try each one during your 60-day trial. We will show you how they work in Elite Booker.
Use the same trial checklist on both platforms
A headline price cannot tell you whether a system fits your salon. Record these answers for your current provider and Elite Booker before changing your booking link.
Price the same working month
Count bookable staff, direct and marketplace bookings, card transactions and reminder messages. Ask for a written total separating subscription, tax, payment charges, acquisition fees and optional extras.
Try your most demanding appointment
Choose a service with the staff, duration and payment arrangement you actually need. Look at the customer journey and the diary entry it creates: processing time, bundles and deposits work differently from one platform to the next.
Plan what will move
List client contact records, future appointments, paid deposits, gift balances and consent history separately. Elite Booker has no automatic import, so we set up your services, prices and availability with you and you decide how to bring clients across.
Choose a safe changeover point
Reconcile upcoming bookings and money already paid before replacing website or social booking links. Assign someone to check both diaries during the transition and tell clients how to contact you.
